Sidekicks in Action: Joanne's Place—a Perfect Place for Nutes!
Jo Anne Fallaise started Joanne’s Place in Peterborough 1976 to solve one of her own problems: finding healthy food and products for her family. The company now has two stores in Peterborough and one in Lindsay.
Joanne’s Place is a great supporter of local health food manufacturing initiatives, and was among the first retailers to agree to stock our frozen superfood smoothies and cold-pressed juices.
The products have found a receptive market with Joanne’s clientele, and Joanne’s has accordingly increased the precious freezer shelf-space allotted to the company. We are very grateful for the support and enthusiasm of Joanne’s Place staff and management. We’ve enjoyed many successful sampling events at their flagship Lansdowne Street store, and find their customers to be similarly open and enthusiastic–Joanne’s Place place has a great vibe!
